We are sitting in 14th place after the first night. Gal stepped up in tremendous fashion after squeaking into Championship Final of th e200 IM; he finished on the podium in 4th place. Add to that a 400 medley relay that didn't even make the meet squeaking into 16th place and finishing 14th. Noah anchored that bad boy with a 42.9!
Our sprinters were reminded of what a fickle race the 50 can be. Shoot, even in the Championship Final where we saw a new American record, guys who were 19.0 in the morning were 19.3 at night.
Being at Men's Finals is just an amazing experience. All these young men doing amazing, amazing things. It is so much fun!
We start the day tomorrow on a big note with our showcase relay: the 200 medley. It's going to be good!
